No. All 3.3TB were already copied to SharePoint earlier this month. Google Drive stays read-only as a backup for several weeks. Nothing will be deleted.

Yes — IT is mapping your current Google Drive permissions to SharePoint exactly. If you could see a folder in Google Drive, you'll see it in SharePoint too.

The easiest way is OneDrive — IT will set up shortcuts that mirror your shared drives. You can also access everything at office.com.

Not yet — keep using Google Drive as normal. In the meantime:

  • Confirm you can sign in at office.com
  • Watch for an email with instructions closer to March 24

Read-only access will remain for a few weeks so you can reference files. New work should go into SharePoint from day one.

IT will be monitoring on launch day. If there are widespread issues we can roll back — no work will be lost. For individual issues, contact the helpdesk directly.
